Yankland

OK so America is a big place, that much is a given. So is Canada last time I checked. And maybe
we don't have this problem in Canada, maybe we do, I don't know but damn do they ever HATE the pedestrian in this country. Seriously I am absolutely Trapped by the hideous shopping mall/collection of restaurants that make up this part of the swamp that is the meadowlands or more accurately, Secaucus New Jersey.

In short, I don't like it here, I don't want to live here, I don't like they way they do things here and
I like it more in montreal where i live.

Last night I took a train over to Manhatten and had a lovely time walking around Greenwich Village guided by my book I found a number of secret hideouts and places I never would have known about. After my walk (at dusk) I stumbled on a bbq place where I took some pulled pork with mashed potatoe. It was nice but not $20 nice which is what it cost. Still I had a pleasant evening and tonight after getting a lift back to the wrong hotel I went to the sports authority and got a kicking pair of trainers, new tshirt and pair of shorts for super cheap with no tax!

the shorts were North Face and cost me $12! tax free! What!

yeah so its not all bad in New Jersey.

But I prefer Canada.
