Yes back to the old blighty. Cant wait to try some more fat producing food like pork pie and fish and chips. Ahem. Well I weighed myself today and couldnt believe the numbers. 14 stone - what the fuck? 90 kilos - I am officially a plumper. It must be all the cake I have eaten lately. I really dont know where it comes from.
Lately I have been thoroughly enjoying the Wire. I am 3/4 of the way through series 4 and I love it. It gets better and better as it goes along. Clearly a genre defining piece of TV if ever there was one.
What else is new - Well we one a game of football for the first time in ages it seems. I played a good game, I think I have been playing pretty well lately but its not easy to know if thats true. 3 members of the team said well done after the game so I guess so. Im going to be back for the first round of the playoffs then I think I am probably done with this team. Out with the old and in with the new. A change of scenery is required and I think I am in with the new - Bishop Street Bombers.

Unfortunately they play in red and they are called the Bombers but lets not quibble.
Im a bit reticent about skill levels, whether I'll be up for it but I will give it my best shot and see what happens. Im excited about the opportunity.
